Lankenau Hospital

Wynnewood, PA:  Over its years of expansion, Lankenau Hospital evolved to the point where users could not differentiate specific areas of the hospital.  AGS collaborated with Philadelphia based Exit Design to study how people experience the hospital’s environment and to understand what improvements would enhance the healthcare delivery system.  In addition to installation of new signage, another component of the solution was to provide patients and visitors with a pre-arrival package containing detailed directions.  (Honor Award 2006: Society of Environmental Graphic Design)
